No Little Miss Monongahfest?

The Little Miss Monongahfest Pageant may be canceled for the second year in a row unless there are enough entries, Town Recorder Debbie Manzo Vandetta writes.

Debbie’s post:

“The MONONGAHFEST is next Saturday, August 16. All little girls who would like to be in the Little Miss MONONGAHFEST pageant can turn your paperwork in to the water office by this Friday or give them to Patty McCombs or me before Monday August 11.

“If we do not have enough girls, this will be the second year without a pageant!!!”

The “judging” is simple: Girls between the ages of 4 and 12 will each pick a flower to determine who is named the queen.
