Penny Delovich, Class of 1961, who lives in Joppatown, Maryland, will celebrate her birthday Tuesday, Aug. 5. 

For Dorie White Whetsell, another Monongah High grad, her big day is Thursday, Aug. 7. 

Two days later, on Saturday, Aug. 9, Paula Kerns Fazio, Class of 1979 (the final Monongah High class before the consolidation with North Marion), will celebrate her birthday, with the help of husband Joe Fazio.

Paula’s mother is Dorothy Stevenski Kerns, Class of 1942.

(Agnes) Jean Larry DiLaura, Class of 1950, as noted in a previous MHS Alumni blog article, will do her hooting and hollering on Sunday, Aug. 3.

Penny's parents are John Tetrick of Worthington and Ruth Paxton of Carolina. Ruth married Helen Tetrick's brother. 

Monongah High history is deluged with Deloviches. North Marion, too.

Evelyn Delovich, who married Gregg Wood, lives in Conowingo, Maryland and attended Joppatowne High School. That's Evelyn and Gregg with Penny in the photo montage.

Michelle Delovich lives in Joppatowne but is from Forest Hill, Maryland. I'm guessing Evelyn and Michelle might be related to Penny.

Ronnie “Coolie” Delovich, Class of 1952, who passed away in 1969.

Anna Delovich Tarley, Class of 1955.

Mary Ann Delovich Matheney, Class of 1976.

Eva Marie Delovich, North Marion Class of 1982.

Suzanna Delovich also went to North Marion. So did Shayla Delovich, who lives in Clarksburg.

Then there’s Hallie Delovich, 2008 Tullahoma, Tennessee High School grad, who is from Monongah.
