Ed Graffius, Class of 1971, and Brenda Ridenour Graffius, Class of 1974, celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary Monday, Aug. 4.

“Forty one years ago today I asked a pretty
blonde-haired girl with a beautiful smile to marry me. I gave her an engagement
ring which I bought with money I had to sell my motorcycle to get.
"I guess it
was a good trade since she gave us two wonderful children who in turn have
given us five wonderful grandchildren.
"I have replaced the motorcycle but I
wouldn't trade my blonde-haired (silver-haired now) girl for anyone.”
Ed and
Brenda live in Pleasant Valley.
He’s receiving manager at Wal-Mart. She’s a licensed practical nurse.
