Helen’s sister-in-law, Joyce Carlot Pellillo, Class of 1952, passed away in 2012. Joyce's parents were Julie and Gene Loss Carlot, who operated Carlot’s Grill across the street from Monongah High.

Joyce’s brother Dave and his wife lived in Rose Tropea's house (Tropea Grocery co-owner with husband Tony) and made a ladies'  clothing store out of the building that had previously housed the Tropea grocery store. Dave also redid Carlot's Grill and made it into a Dairy Mart store.

James Pellillo, Class of 1973.
Kimberly Zikefoose Pellillo, Class of 1979.
