Brother is cool for good cause

Manchin next?

Brother also challenged U.S. Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia to do the same thing.

Manchin accepted and, after surviving the cold splashup, nominated Congressional candidate Nick Casey, Congressman Nick Rahall, U.S. Senate candidate Natalie Tennant, State Auditor and Congressional candidate Glen Gainer, West Virginia University president Gordon Gee and Marshall president Stephen Kopp for the same damp privilege.

The story from the University of Alabama al.com web site:

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama -- The response was swift and more famous figures were left drenched for a good cause.

Nick Saban's call to action resulted in three more ALS Ice Bucket Challenge videos, as SEC Network radio personality Paul Finebaum, former Alabama running back Mark Ingram and Florida coach Will Muschamp all accepted within the 24-hour window.

U.S. senator Joe Manchin of Saban's native West Virginia is still on the clock.

Ingram put two more former Alabama running backs on the clock, as he challenged Eddie Lacy and Trent Richardson.
