Bombard passes away
Charles “Bob” Bombard of Everson, passed
away Monday.
His siblings are Joe Bombard and wife
Marva Holt Bombard, both Class of 1966, of Everson; Alice Bombard
McDougal, Class of 1961, of Bridgeport; and Frank Bombard, Class of 1956, of
Oakdale, Pennsylvania.
Kimberly Bombard is a 1985 North Marion
graduate. Another Joe Bombard is a 1986 North Marion alumnus.

Charles “Bob” Bombard, 73, of Everson died Monday August 4, 2014 at his residence. He was born February 28, 1941 in Fairmont, WV, son of the late Samuel and Maxine (Shears) Bombard.

Charles “Bob” Bombard, 73, of Everson died Monday August 4, 2014 at his residence. He was born February 28, 1941 in Fairmont, WV, son of the late Samuel and Maxine (Shears) Bombard.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Diane
(Bice) Bombard; two brothers, Franklin “Pete” Bombard and wife Gundi of
Oakdale, PA; Joseph Bombard and wife Marva of Everson; one sister, Alice
McDougal of Bridgeport; a sister-in-law, Terry Bombard of Whitehall; a
mother-in-law, Helen Bice Wilmoth of Pleasant Valley; a brother-in-law William
Bice and his wife Barbara of Whitehall; several nieces, nephews, great nieces
and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded
in death by an infant son, William Todd Bombard; a brother, Samuel Bombard; his
father-in-law, Ward Bice, Jr.; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Bob loved hunting, fishing, and spending time
with his nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. He was a member of the Holy
Spirit Catholic Church in Monongah and held various jobs, which include Owens
Illinois and Interstate Engineers.
The family will receive friends at Domico
Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave. in Fairmont from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday with a
Vigil Service at 7 p.m. Wednesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday August 7, at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church
in Monongah with Father Soosai Arpudam Arokiadass as Celebrant. Interment will
follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Enterprise.
