Doris Carpenter Rogers, Class of 1971, and Scott Rogers, Class of 1973 and known as Earl at Monongah High, were married 39 years on July 26.

Doris, daughter of Iris Carpenter, Class of 1950, is a West Virginia Wesleyan graduate. Scott is a Beckley College graduate who works at Humana Healthcare. They live in Charleston, West Virginia.

Mandi Rogers Craig, Doris and Scott’s daughter, lives in Fairmont. 

Doris and Sue Ahouse Schrader, Class of 1971, have been friends since second grade, even though Sue lives in Piscataway, New Jersey, and Doris lives in Charleston. They have frolicked together in New York City and run together in the Chicago Half-Marathon.
