TIM ALAN BOWERS

Tim
Alan Bowers, 56, of Monongah, passed suddenly from this life, Friday, (August
8, 2014) at Fairmont General Hospital, from complications with his heart. He
was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 7, 1958 a son of Frank D. Bowers of
Monongah and the late Bonnie Garcia Bass.
Tim was Baptist by faith. He has been disabled for several years. Prior to his disability he had served in the US Navy. He was an avid sports fan and had kept the statistics for local baseball teams, both little league and pony league. He was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. He enjoyed history, the beach and especially spending time with his granddaughters.
In addition to his father he is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Lisa Rabette Bowers; his son and daughter-in-law Gordon and Amber Bowers of Morgantown; his brother Kelly Bass of Tampa, FL; four sisters and two brothers-in-law Vicki Barkley of Ft. Myers, FL, Pam and David Closson of Monongah, Sherry and Dennis Williams of Monongah and Linda Bland of Monongah; his granddaughters Kaydence and Devaney Bowers; his step-mother Lucille Bowers of Monongah; his step-father Frank Bass of Tampa, FL; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his uncle Ronnie Bowers and his best buddy Jeff Hale.
In keeping with his wishes there will not be any funeral home visitation and he will be cremated. A private service will be held for his immediate family. Condolences may be sent to the family at either FHFF320@AOL.COM or www.freyhomeforfunerals.com .
