The Monongah Fire Department battled a “suspicious” blaze
Saturday evening, an abandoned
farmhouse on White Rock just past old Fisherman’s Wharf.
It was up a gravel road, so access was
limited.
Fire departments from Monongah, Pleasant Valley, Barrackville,
Boothsville, Worthington and Shinnston and the Marion County Rescue Squad
responded to the call.
