Susan
Staron Sanders, Class of 1971, keeps zipping along with her drive
for Monongah Christmas street lights.
Susan reports that “all the tables are almost gone
for the Christmas Light Craft Fair on December 12th.”
Susan will be promoting the Christmas Light Craft Fair on Clarksburg WBOY-TV Channel 12 news at noon Saturday,
December 7.
As for lighting up Monongah’s streets for Christmas, Susan
writes, “I have spoken to Steven from the electric company and he is doing
everything in his power to get us hooked before Christmas. Donations are coming
in and me and my girls went to see companies to raise more money for next year.”
As for the Christmas Light Craft Fair: “Also anyone wanting to
donate desserts, hot dogs, buns would be greatly appreciated. We will have
several craft tables for Christmas gifts, homemade baked goodies.
“Hope to see all you wonderful Monongah town people to help us
make our town shine. Thank you all again for your wonderful donations.”
Thank you, Susan, the Thomas Street power bar, for your
enthusiasm. It will light up the town for Christmas.
