“Take
a minute to read this very touching story written by Haleigh McDougal, daughter
of John McDougal, granddaughter of Mickey Satterfield. Very moving story!!”
John,
a 1990 North Marion High grad, is a brother of Earl McDougal, Class of 1963, who is
married to Mareia Wilmouth McDougal, Class of 1964.
Mareia’s sister, Sherry Wilmouth Vance, and her husband also are
Monongah High graduates. So are Earl’s siblings, Edna McDougal
Saunders, Class of 1948; Helen McDougal Mudry, Class of 1965; James McDougal,
Class of 1961; and Reva McDougal Ash, Class of 1950.

John, her
dad, is the son of Earl McDougal. John is a graduate of North Marion and a WV
State Trooper. Earl's brother John passed
away years ago. He was older than
Earl, but not sure when he graduated.
Mickey Satterfield
was a Salai and McDougal prior to marrying Mike Satterfield from East Side.
Mickey is younger than Earl, but did graduate from Monongah also.
Angie
Criado McDougal is Haleigh's mom. She also graduated from North Marion.
I hope this
helps.
Thanks for
posting Haleigh's story!!! She deserves every bit of recognition she gets!!
We all are
so proud of her and her brother, Nicholas! They both are talented, great
teens!
