Linda
Tomlinson Stevenski, Class of 1955; Lisa Myers McCombs, Class of 1977; and
Diana Pishner Walker, of the Marion County Schools, were there.
And they had plenty of authors for company
at the Marion County Reading Council Author Showcase.
Such as Don Stansberry, Betty LaRosa (Betty Larosa (The “Creighton” family saga
novels), Patricia Hopper Patterson (who’s been
known to hang out with John Boy, Richard Thomas of “The Waltons” TV series),
Lisa Myers McCombs, Morgantown’s Ginger Brookover, Cindy O'Brien, WVU
Journalism School grad Georgeann Thomas Swiger of Reedsville, Reynoldsville,
Ohio’s Diana Perry.
Linda, who lives in Monongah, has a ton of
children’s books to her credit, including the “Chetty” chipmonk series.
Lisa’s latest is “I Have MS – What’s Your
Superpower?”
Diana’s latest is “Spaghetti and Meatballs
– My Family’s Italian.”
