Robert Loss passes away

Robert Loss, Class of 1959, who grew up in Mill Fall with his parents Frank & Gezala Loss and brother Jerry, Class of 1956, who lives in Olmsted Falls, Ohio, passed away at his Shinnston home.

Robert was born May 16, 1941.

Burial will be in Shinnston’s Pine Bluff Cemetery. Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pine Street, Shinnston, is handling arrangements.

His mother, Gezala Futten Loss, was a sister of Lena Futten Olesky, wife of John W. Olesky, Sr. of Monongah.

That made Lena and John, Sr.’s children, Jackie Olesky Straight, Class of 1955, who lives in Rivesville, and John Olesky, Jr., Class of 1950, who lives in Tallmadge, Ohio, an Akron suburb, his cousins.

Also the children of the late Si and Mary Futten -- Billy and Donnie Futten. Si was Gezala and Lena's brother. Si was a barber on Fairmont Avenue for decades before his passng.
