Happy anniversary, Mark & Siobhan Tarley!

Mark Tarley, 1985 North Marion grad, and wife Siobhan are celebrating their 24th wedding anniversary. They live in Hickory, North Carolina.

Mark wrote: “Happy Anniversary to my beautiful wife Siobhan today. She says after 24 years she should be up for parole. I told her I'm considering a full pardon.”

Mark, who went to Fairmont State, is Tony Tarley’s son. His father quit school at age 13 to help his family of 10 children who had been evicted.

There are Tarleys scattered throughout Monongah High history.

Sally Wood Tarley, Class of 1959, is a retired Fairmont State professor (1974-2002). Sally got her masters from WVU and lives in Fairmont with husband Marko Tarley, Class of 1957, Mark’s uncle and namesake.

Other Monongah High Tarleys:

Carlo Tarley, Class of 1965, and his wife, Cathy.
Vincent Tarley, Class of 1966.

Phillis Tarley, North Marion 1982, sister of the late Worthington firefighter Dewey Tarley. Along with Phillip Tarley, they were the children of another Phillip Tarley, of Fairmont, and the late Betha Irene Wilmoth Tarley.

Dewey and former wife Monica Tennant of Fairmont had children Spencer Tarley and Hannah Tarley, both of Fairmont.
