Paul Harbert, Jr. passes awayTimes West Virginian

Paul Vernon Harbert, Jr., who with his siblings attended Monongah High, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 3.

His father – Paul Harbert, Sr. – was the son of Griff and Agnes Harbert. 

Paul Jr.'s siblings were Gerald, Bill, Eva, Ted, Farrell and Phil.   Eva was in the class of 1951 with cousin Duane Harbert, who lives in Marlton, New Jersey, and Bill was either class of 47 or 48.

Paul, Jr.’s obituary:

Paul Vernon Harbert Jr. passed away Tuesday (Dec. 3, 2013) at his residence.

He was born Feb. 3, 1960, in Fairmont, a son of the late Paul Vernon Harbert Sr.

He was employed by Brand Builders as a welder. Paul was also employed as a maintenance worker at a local nursing home. He also enjoyed going hunting and playing dominos.

Paul is survived by his mother, Shelby Jean Kincaid Keener; one brother, Chris Harbert; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Mildred Kincaid, and George and Agnes Harbert; uncles, Charles Ray, Charles Anderson Jr. and Robert Kincaid Jr., and several additional uncles.

Friends may call at the Hutson Funeral Home in Farmington from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, where services will be held at 8 p.m. with Pastor Ann DeBolt officiating. At the request of the deceased, cremation will follow.
