Wedding bells for Leatrice Yokay’s granddaughter
Podiatrist John Yokay III, a
Barrackville High and WVU grad who lives in Sacramento and is the son of John Yokay, Class of 1953, will be in Fairmont this weekend “to go to my cousin’s
wedding – Allie Talkington.”

Allie is a granddaughter of Leatrice Yokay
Greaser, Class of 1950, who lives in Fairmont. The connection is through Bill
Talkington, Leatrice’s first husband, who passed away June 21, 2013. Leatrice is
the widow of Bob Greaser, who passed away Dec. 11, 2013.
Allie is a dental assistant to Dr. Linda
Ray on Pleasant Valley Road. Allie's marriage to Caleb Nazelrodt will take place Saturday. Caleb is a Petersburg
High School and WVU criminology grad from Maysville, West Virginia who lives in
Farmington and has been a loader operator at Murray American Energy, a roof
bolter at Murray Energy and a load operator at Consol’s Loveridge mine.
Their wedding will be at the Heston Farm Winery, 1602 Tulip Lane, Fairmont.

John’s father played
for the 1952 state champ Monongah High football team. Dad once worked at St.
John’s School of Boys in Deep River, Connecticut and lives in Mount Airy,
Maryland.
Papa John Yokay’s sisters are Leatrice Yokay Greaser, Class of 1950,
who lives in Fairmont, and Pat Yokay Maddox, Class of 1948, who lives in
Bentons Ferry.
Mikie Talkington of Fairmont is
Allie’s brother.
John III’s
daughter, Petrina, is in podiatry school in New York City. John and wife Angie have a son, Johan, who has played rugby in
Poland.
