Three businesses robbed in Fairmont in one week

Authorities
responded Friday morning to an armed robbery at a Circle K in Marion County. According
to Marion County dispatchers, it happened around 3 a.m. at the Circle K on
Morgantown Avenue in Fairmont.
Fairmont police said the robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. He is described as a black man.
The Fairmont Police Department is investigating. The Marion County Sheriff's Office assisted on scene.
This is the third armed robbery in Fairmont in the last week. Investigators are using surveillance video to identify whoever robbed the KFC on Speedway Avenue and the McDonald's on Fairmont Avenue within hours of each other.
