Beth & Rick back in glitzy desert

Beth Pritchard Brooks, Class of 1978, and husband Rick Brooks made it from Harter Hill in Worthington to Las Vegas in 2,300 miles and 4 days. That’s averaging 575 miles a day.

Writes Beth:
“Thank you, God for watching over us as we traveled 2,300 miles over 4 days. We had a good trip. Our behinds and backs are sore and we ran into some hard rain a few times. But on the upside, we got to see Katie 2 days, we got 2 new Harley shirts and got to see 3 rainbows! All in all it was a good trip and we are thankful for safe travels once again.”
Beth and Rick left Vegas in June to spend the summer based in Worthington while Rick spent a few months in Columbus installing and working on conveyor systems in distribution centers, which is what he has done all over the United States for decades.
Vegas is his base when he isn't in Arizona or who knows where doing the same thing. Plus it's the desert with the most casinos and bright lights.

Rick grew up in Mannington and is a son of Lester Eugene and Helen Gaylene Brooks.
