Beckley man found safe in North Carolina

Beckley dementia patient Donald Worley, 84, was found safe in Huntersville, North Carolina on Saturday, Oct. 11. 

He disappeared from his Beckley resident Oct. 8.

His family had told West Virginia State Police that they suspected he might be headed to Sunset Beach, North Carolina, which is 204 miles from Huntersville on U.S. 74.

A Silver Alert had been put out for Mr. Worley, saying that “He may be driving a white 2012 Ford Fusion with WV registration OXA440.”
