Robert Lee Ice, 71, of Monongah, husband of Judy Bevlin Ice, Class of 1964, passed away Tuesday at Fairmont Medical Center.

Robert Ice’s obituary:

Robert Lee Ice, 71, of Monongah passed away Tuesday October 21, 2014 at Fairmont Regional Medical Center.  He was born April 18, 1943 in Fairmont, WV, son of the late John Ice Sr. and Iva Gump Ice.

Robert was a truck driver, he work at WV Armature and Baker Mine Supply for 20 years, Champion Block for 14 years, and R&J Mine Service.

Survivors include his wife Judy Bevlin Ice, a son Robert Lee Ice II and his wife Amanda of Mill Fall, grandchildren Robert Lee Ice III, Raegan Ice & Raeanna Ice; four brothers John Ice Jr. & wife Alice of Colfax, Joseph Ice of Millersville, Forest Ice of Arizona, and Mick Gump of Mannington, two sisters Barbara Ice of White Hall, and Shirley Miller and husband Shelby of Chicago, IL.

Family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home 414 Gaston Ave. Fairmont, Thursday Oct. 23, from 1 until 8 pm, and Friday Oct. 24, from Noon until 2 pm. Funeral service will be Friday 2 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Bill Preston officiating. Burial will follow at the Shinnston Masonic Cemetery.
