Wilma June Sheppard Slovekosky, mother
of Kenneth Slovekosky, who went to Monongah Junior High “till it burned down,”
has been hospitalized with a heart attack.
Wilma lived on Fairmont Avenue with her
late husband, Walter Frank Slovekosky, who passed away several years ago.
Ken hustled from Jackson, Tennessee
to be with his mom. He writes: “I need to get there before she goes.”
Ken’s wife is Julie Slovekosky, who is
from Indianapolis.
There’s a Belinda Morgan Sheppard,
Class of 1969.
Ken is a 1976 Gilmer County High grad.
Stanley Slovekosky, Class of 1964, is
from Wellsburg and a Brooke High School teacher.
Lorett Slovekosky also lives in
Wellsburg.
