8 Lions, 5 mates share sunshine, sustenance, smiles

8 Monongah High alumni and 5 mates enjoyed the 3^rd Monongah High alumni get-together Wednesday, February 3 in Punta Gorda, Florida, which is 50 miles south of Sarasota on the Gulf of Mexico.

The lunch was on the outside, 2^nd floor deck of the Laishley Crab House at the edge of Charlotte Harbor.

This is the 6^th MHS Alumni gathering in 3 years, 3 in Punta Gorda and 3 in Sarasota.

Attending were Lyla Cosner Howell and husband Len Howell, who made the reservations; Joe Martin, Class of 1957, and wife Arlene Kitchin Martin; Bob Arnett, Class of 1957, and Barb Arnett, Class of 1960; Lloyd Schell, Class of 1957; Bill Meredith, Class of 1957, and Clarksburg Washington Irving grad wife Roleta; Sandy Weils Cook, Class of 1959, and husband Bob Cook; John Olesky, Class of 1950, with Paula Stone Tucker, an Akron St. Mary’s High graduate.

John Olesky, great photos of Alumni and Gatherings !! You state Joe Martin is from 1959 Class, he is really from class of 1957. I am a grad of the Class of 1959. Joe and I dated in High School, and are Friends.
