Mother Nature is a bitch when it comes
to West Virginia.
First she slaps a 42-inch snowstorm
that took a week for Mountaineers to dig out of their homes. And made roads
treacherous for WVU fans trying to get to basketball games in the WVU Coliseum.
Now she’s ready to blow the coldest
temperatures of the winter into the Mountain State this weekend.
It’s those damn Canadians again, sending their cold air to West Virginia.
Wind chills may hit MINUS 33 degrees.
It’s not an isolated case, either.
There are Wind Chill
Advisories for Marion, Taylor, Raleigh, Fayette, Nicholas, Webster, Upshur,
Barbour, Pocahontas, Randolph, Monroe, Mercer, Summers, Hancock, Brooke, Monongalia,
Preston, Tucker, Ohio, Marshall and Wetzel counties.
That's almost half the counties!
The cold will continue into next week.
Maybe everyone in Wesy Virginia should
just pack their swimsuits, bring sunblock and head for Florida till, say, July.
