Jim Straight, Class of 1965

Jim Straight, Class of 1965, who grew up on Stoney Lonesome in Monongah, is living in Grafton.

His mother, the late Pearl McIntire Straight, was Monongah Elementary cook for many years.

Pearl’s daughter, the late Robin Straight, also grew up in the Stoney Lonesome house that was at the bottom of the hill near Pepsi Meffe's service station and the Union Hall.

As for Jim, he graduated from Fairmont State and worked at Groundbreakers.

Jim wrote:

“We lived in the big house on turn bottom of hill next to Meffe's at Stoney Lonesome.

“Picture is my oldest grandson on his first birthday, he be 4 on 3/6/16.

“My son Bill & his wife Natalie, sons Billy & Sammy live in Prairieville Louisiana.”
He has two young grandsons.
