Close Fazio friend Mark Kisner passes away

Mark Kisner, close friend of C.J. Fazio of the Monongah Fazios, passed away Tuesday, May 17.

C.J. is a son of Dave Fazio, Class of 1968, married to 1973 Farmington grad Cora, operator of Fazio's Eldercare in Stoney Lonesome, and a grandson of Renzy Fazio and Frances Olesky Fazio, both Class of 1937.

 
C.J.’s siblings are Mary Beth and the late Tony Fazio.

Mark’s obituary:

Mark Allen Kisner, 46, of Fairmont passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at United Hospital Center following a short illness.

He was born in Marion County on September 10, 1969 a son of Wanda (Fisher) Kisner of Fairmont and the late Donald Kisner. He is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca (Boore) Kisner.

Mark graduated from Fairmont Senior High School in 1987. He was currently employed at the Murray Energy Loveridge Mine in Fairview as a Miner. He was a proud member of the United Mine Workers of America.

Mark attended the First Church of the Nazarene. His many interests included hunting, fishing, riding his Harley, being outdoors and his collection of Trans Am cars. Special to him, were his loving Dogs, Boots, Maddie, Harley and Bella. Most of all, Mark loved spending time with his family and many friends.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his brother, Donald Bradley "Brad" Kisner and a close friend, C.J. Fazio of Fairmont; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law Richard and Karen Boore of Fairmont; and sister-in-law Amy Boore of Fairmont.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Edna Kisner and Oliver and Agnes Fisher.

Friends and Family may call at the Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant Street Fairmont on Thursday from 4pm to8 pm, on Friday from 1pm to8 pm and on Saturday 11am to 1pm. The funeral Service will be at 1pm on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor Michael VanZant of the First Church of the Nazarene in Fairmont officiating. Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Westover. Condolences may be left at www.carpenterandford.com
