A niece of Jerry Loss, Class of 1956, who lives in North Olmsted, Ohio, is getting married in August.

So Jerry’s wife, Elaine Loss, attended the future bride’s wedding shower in nearby Olmsted Falls with two of Jerry and Elaine’s daughters, their granddaughter and Elaine’s sister, Annette Kruty.

As for Jerry, who has been dealing with TWO infections, Elaine reports:

Jerry is doing much better, thank you. Two bouts with 2 different infections was crazy, but it is OVER now.  What happens next? God only knows. For now, it is back to normal.”

Jerry grew up on the Mill Fall farm of his parents, Frank and Gezala Futten Loss, who came from Pellizzano, Italy to America in 1920 with John Olesky’s mother, Lena Futten Olesky, when they were children, along with their brother, Si Futten, who was a long-time Fairmont barber before he passed away.

Jerry’s brother, Robert Loss, also a Monongah High grad, is deceased. John’s sister, Jackie Olesky Straight, Class of 1955, lives in Rivesville.
