The United Way of Marion County
celebrated its $435,000 in fund-raising for 2015 at Colasessano’s restaurant on Monday.
It was founded in 1957 and has
offices in room 203 at 212 Adams Street in Fairmont.
Mary Jo Thomas is 2015 United Way of Marion County President.
Mannington Food Pantry, Soup Opera,
YWCA-Y-Teens, senior citizens, Girl Scouts, Red Cross are among the
beneficiaries of Marion’s United Way.
