Trepidation time for Tony Tarley

Anthony Tarley, who quit school at age 13 to help his family with 10 children when Tony’s coal-miner dad died and the family was evicted, needs a helping hand from The Man Upstairs.

Posted Mark Tarley, Tony’s son and a North Marion High grad:

“Say a few prayers for my dad if you can spare the time. He needs some strength right now.”

Mark went to Fairmont State and is married and living in Hickory, North Carolina.

Marko Tarley, Class of 1957, Mark’s uncle and namesake, married Sally Woods, Class of 1958.
