Leo Jacobin, Class of 1959, lives in Lakewood, Colorado, with wife Roberta and works in Denver.

Leo is the son of Christine Tropea Jacobin, Class of 1935,  and Leo Jacobin, Class of 1933, who died in 1998. They lived on Bridge Street in Brookdale near the Meredith family.

Christine was born Dec. 25, 1917, in Monongah, daughter of the late Tony and Rose Loss Tropea, who owned the Tropea Grocery on Camden Avenue (U.S. 19), next to the building that housed Carlot’s Grill. The Tropea home was on the same property as the grocery, but was set back from Camden Avenue by maybe 100 feet.
Christine’s brother, Vincent Tropea, is deceased.
So are her sisters, Marguerite Tropea Mathews, Class of 1926, who married Simon Matthews (their son, the late Simon Paul Matthews, Jr., was Class of 1956); Virginia Tropea Neri, Class of 1931, who married Peter Neri;  and Helen Tropea Riggs Bieglecki, who once lived in Michigan.

Bill Meredith posted:

“We always enjoyed seeing Chrissie and Leo at the Monongah Alumni event each year, along with all of her sisters.  My wife once purchased some aprons from her, which she and Leo made for some charity, perhaps also to benefit hospital patients.”

Leo was a manager, as I was during my time at Monongah High, in baseball, basketball and football. He also was in the junior class play, was president of Monongah High’s National Honor Society as a senior, attended Boys State and was junior-senior prom vice chairman, although I’m not sure what kind of prom vice he was “chairman” of. I seem to recall that there was some going around during my MHS days.

If you want to re-establish contact with Leo, his phone numbers are home (303) 936-9448 and
cellphone (720) 933-9448 and his email address is leojacobin@comcast.net

If you have memories of the Jacobin family, email John Olesky at jo4wvu@neo.rr.com and I’ll add the information on the Monongah High Alumni blog.

  1. After being in relationship with Wilson for seven years,he broke up with me, I did everything possible to bring him back but all was in vain, I wanted him back so much because of the love I have for him, I begged him with everything, I made promises but he refused. I explained my problem to someone online and she suggested that I should contact a spell caster that could help me cast a spell to bring him back but I am the type that don’t believed in spell, I had no choice than to try it, I meant a spell caster called Dr Zuma zuk and I email him, and he told me there was no problem that everything will be okay before three days, that my ex will return to me before three days, he cast the spell and surprisingly in the second day, it was around 4pm. My ex called me, I was so surprised, I answered the call and all he said was that he was so sorry for everything that happened, that he wanted me to return to him, that he loves me so much. I was so happy and went to him, that was how we started living together happily again. Since then, I have made promise that anybody I know that have a relationship problem, I would be of help to such person by referring him or her to the only real and powerful spell caster who helped me with my own problem and who is different from all the fake ones out there. Anybody could need the help of the spell caster, his email: spiritualherbalisthealing@gmail.com or WhatsApp him +15068001647 blog: spiritualherbal.blogspot.com you can email him if you need his assistance in your relationship or anything.
