Todd Moats on anniversary cruise

John Todd Moats, 1985 North Marion High grad who lives in Lynchburg, Virginia, and wife Michelle gave themselves a 20th wedding anniversary present. They flew to Florida to meet their cruise ship, which departed Saturday.

They were wed Nov. 19, 1994, two days after Todd’s birthday.

John Todd was born in Monongah, went to Thoburn Grade School, Monongah Middle School and then, because Monongah High had its last graduation class in 1979, had to go to North Marion to finish his education.

Bonnie Nicholson Moats, Class of 1960, who lives in Rustburg, Virginia, posted:

“Logan, Luke and I will miss them, but we have plans!!”

Bonnie is the widow of Fairmont East grad John Moats, the Fairmont State football player that she met while she was an FSC majorette.
