This is a memorial to the fathers of Monongah High Alumni.

Renzy Fazio, Class of 1937, father of Irene Fazio Preolitti, Class of 1966, married to Mike Preolitti, Class of 1962; Mary Chris Fazio Ramsey, Class of 1969, married to Tom Ramsey; Steve Fazio, Class of 1975, widower of Nancy; and David Fazio, Class of 1968, married to 1973 Farmington grad Cora. All the children live in Monongah.

Phil Manzo, father of Ron Manzo, Class of 1969, and Debbie Manzo Vandetta, Class of 1973.


Ted McDaniel, father of Jo Ann McDaniel Huff, Class of 1949; Jim McDaniel, Class of 1960; Mary Jane McDaniel Pritchard; and Donald McDaniel.
Frank Michalski, who started with the Class of 1949, father of Mike Michalski, Class of 1969, who lives in Monongah with wife Janet Sauro Michalski; Marcia Michalski Westfall, Class of 1974, married to David Westfall and living in Fairmont; Carol Michalski Drake, Class of 1975, living in Shinnston with husband Robert Drake; Ramona Marie Michalski, who lives in Monongah with her mother, Ramona Fullen Michalski; Jay Michalski, 1980 North Marion grad who lives in Monongah with wife Debby Mason Michalski; and the late Mary Frances Michalski Hulderman Gapen, Class of 1968, who married Tom Hulderman and Rick Gapen.

John W. Olesky, Sr., father of Jackie Olesky Straight, Class of 1955, a widow living in Rivesville; and John Olesky, Jr., Class of 1950, who lives in Tallmadge, Ohio.

John Charles Pritchard, father of Jane “Nene” Pritchard Moore, Class of 1975; Jonna Pritchard Barnett, 1980 North Marion grad; and Beth Pritchard Brooks, Class of 1978.

Jim Pulice, Class of 1948, father of Jim Pulice, Class of 1969, former Monongah Elementary principal and brother of Anthony Pulice, Jr., sibling of Anthony Pulice, Jr., Class of 1945; Saverio Pulice, Class of 1942; and the late Genevieve “Jennie” Pulice, Class of 1936. Jim the father was my CYO basketball coach in the Marion County Church League.

Fred Yanero, father of Pamela Yanero Bragg, Class of 1969; and Alfred Yanero, Class of 1967.
