Son
David Fazio and wife Cora, a 1973 Farmington High grad who runs Fazio ElderCare
in Stoney Lonesome, are enjoying the beaches of Hilton Head, South Carolina.
Previously,
they hit Cozumel, Mexico; Belize, Honduras; and the Grand Cayman.
Renzy and Frances' daughter
Mary Chris Fazio Ramsey also is at Hilton Head with husband Tom Ramsey and a
passel of grandchildren.
Irene Fazio Preolitti, Class of 1966,
and husband Mike Preolitti are at their Traction Park home just past the Mount
Calvary Cemetery in Monongah. Obviously, between beach visits.
When they hit the beach, Chincoteague Island in Virginia or the
Outer Banks in North Carolina are likely landing spots.
Chincoteague and Assateaugue form a National Seashore that is
the home of the famous Chincoteague Wild Ponies. My son and daughter
have been there many times, and loved it.
Chincoteague
Island gained national fame in 1961 in the “Misty of Chincoteague” movie author
Marguerite Henry's 1947 award-winning children's book, which she wrote while
staying at Miss Molly's Inn on Chincoteague Island.
As for
another son of Renzy and Frances, Steve
Fazio, widower of Nancy, I guess he’ll have to be content with
looking at their “wish you were here postcards” till he finds a beach to hit.
