Richie Basagic and wife Sandra
Basagic are both retiring.

Richard
“Richie” Basagic, Class of 1975, works at FirstEnergy. Today was his last day
at work although he won’t officially retire till August 1. But he’ll be legally
on “vacation” till that date.
Sandra Basagic,
after Parkersburg High, Fairmont State and West Virginia University, retired as a teacher for
the Marion County Board of Education.
They are married and
live in Fairmont.
Son Justin Basagic, who lives
in Severna Park, Maryland,
wrote:
“I would like to give a shout out to my parents today who
have retired this week. Enjoy yourselves! You earned it!”
Richie’s
sister is Goldie Basagic Huffman, Class of 1974, who once
worked for the federal government and lives in Monongah with husband Johnl
Huffman.
