Arlene
Kitchin, wife of Joe Martin, Class of 1957, who had surgery after falling out
of their car on their Treasure Island, Florida driveway on June 9, has
progressed to using a walker.
She had
surgery on her chipped knee cap and tore a tendon. The original estimate was
for 4 to 6 weeks in a wheelchair. I guess they didn’t know Arlene.
Arlene was born in Nova Scotia, Canada. Joe and Arlene
will celebrate their 11th wedding anniversary in September.
She’ll probably
be running marathons by then. Those Canucks are tough.
