Fairmont Catholic social studies teacher Greg Patrick, Class of 1970, will have surgery Thursday, June 16 at Monongalia General Hospital for the medical problem that revealed itself during his trip to the Ukraine.
Greg is the leader of the Jenna Won’t Sing, Monongah’s No. 1 band that plays throughout Marion County and at the Monongahfest every 's year. Jenna bandmate Jim Pulice accompanied him to Monon Gen for his surgery and reported that "Greg is out of surgery and doing great" and will be hospitalized for two days.
He was scheduled to be sent home on Saturday, June 18.
