Fairmont State grad Steve, who grew up in Carolina, will retire
from Montgomery County Public Schools in
Maryland at the end of the school year, ending his 48-year teaching career. He teaches

Steve writes:
“Our new home is ready and we are moving to Hanover,
Pennsylvania. The town where UTZ potato chips and Hanover Pretzels are made and
life is a little less chaotic.
“We settle on the house this Monday. The house sits on a
1/2 acre of land and the view from our deck is fantastic. A great place to
enjoy a glass of wine and a beautiful sunset.
“We have 3,665 feet of finished living space in this
craftsman style home. There is no upstairs. One level and a finished basement.”
Steve added:
“Holly is resigning her job and will officially retire in
early 2017.”
Steve
