Mary Angelina Canjar
(December 7, 1933 - March 13, 2016) 
Mary
Angelina (Alessio) Canjar, 82 of Worthington passed away Sunday March 13,
2016 at her residence. Mary was born December 7, 1933 in Owings, WV. daughter
of the late John Alessio and Angelina Bitonti Alessio.
Mary
was a former employee of Westinghouse, and homemaker and housewife. She was a
member of Marion Co. Farm Bureau.
Survivors
include her husband, John Edward Canjar; one son, Patsy Mezzanotte and wife
Sandy Wildman of Fairmont; two grandsons, Johnny Joe and Patsy Mezzanotte of
Fairmont; one great granddaughter, Angelina; and one great great-grandson,
Carson; three sisters Sarah Skubis of Grant Town, Francis Hermosillia of
Fairmont, Patty Costelas and husband Bob of Shinnston; one brother Tony
Alessio of Fairmont; a sister-in-law, Betty M. Canjar of Worthington; and
several nieces and nephews.
In
addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by five brothers Patsy,
Louie, Frank, Sam, and Joe Alessio; two sisters Elizabeth Ryan and Rose
Rizzo.
Mary
chose cremation as her final disposition. There will be a private family
burial at a later date.
