Mary Frances Miller Myers passes away

Mary Frances Miller Myers, Class of 1951, passed away Saturday, March 12.

Her daughter, Karen Myers Naffah, wrote:
Mary Frances
Miller Myers

“This morning with the birds chirping and the sun shining, our beautiful mother went home to be with her savior, Jesus Christ. We are broken-hearted for ourselves, but so very joyful for her to be in Heaven wrapped in the arms of her mother, sister, aunt and grandparents after waiting patiently many years for this heavenly reunion. Our cup runneth over."
Mary Frances, daughter Karen

Mary Frances shared a Canfield, Ohio home with her husband, Bill Myers, who is in Briarfield rehab 15 miles away in Youngstown with his own health issues, including the loss of both legs.

Their children are Youngstown State graduate Karen, who lives a block away; Bill Myers, whose careers included the Dayton, Ohio police department and the FBI; and David Myers, who lives in Sarasota and watches homes for snowbirds while they are up north in warmer weather.

I had a delightful reunion with Mary Frances and Bill at the 2005 and 2010 Monongah High Alumni Reunions.

Till I find out the funeral home, send your prayers and condolences to Mary Frances’ daughter at kmnaffah@aol.com
