Paul Yanero passes away
Paul
Yanero, born in Monongah and a former Monongah High student, passed away
Sunday, April 6 in Melbourne, Florida.
He
was the brother of Richard Yanero, Class of 1971, of Dover, Delaware, once
owner of Rick's Bellview Lounge in Fairmont. His sister, Dorothy “Dot” Evans,
lives in Monongah.

Paul attended Monongah High
Survivors include his wife Ida E. Yanero; two daughters, Diana Yanero - Albert and husband Glenn of Melbourne, FL, Paula Bowers and husband Danny of Franklin, WV; four grandchildren Joshua Albert, Trista (Westfall) Kremer and husband Michael, Paul Shipco and his significant other Andrea, and Frank Shipco; seven great grandchildren, Savanah, Mikayla, and Justin Kremer, Konnor and Katin Shipco, and Lauren Shipco; a brother, Richard "Dick" F. Yanero and his wife Harriett of Dover, DE; and two sisters, Dorothy "Dot" Evans of Monongah, and Mary Grace Priester of Dover, DE.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by four brothers, James, Louis, John, and Gary Yanero; a sister, Betty Yanero Jones; two infant siblings who died at birth, Roger and Shirley Jean; and a great grandchild, Trista Hope.
The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave. Fairmont; from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday. A Vigil Service will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home with Deacon David Lester officiating. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday April 12, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Father Robert Perriello as celebrant.
Entombment will follow at the Grandview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Full military rites will be conducted at the cemetery by the Marion County Veteran’s Council. Memorial donations may be made in Paul’s name to the American
