John Moore, Class of 1956, passes away

Jim McDaniel, Class of 1960, who lives in Behoboth Beach, Delaware, reports that John Moore, Class of 1956, has passed away.

Jim's email:

John: 

Have sad news to report.  My good friend John Moore passed away on Tuesday, April 1 at a hospice center in Baltimore.  We had been friends for more than 70 years.  He was in the Class of 1956. 

He had cancer 5 times and the last one was too much for him to overcome.  If any of the people on the Monongah High Alumni blog webn site knew John, please say a prayer for him.

John Moore joined the Monongah High Alumni email group, which has been switched to this Monongah High Alumni blog, in October 2013.

Jim McDaniel also noted:

"He willed his body to science.  Never seen an obit on him.  

His cousin said it could be a while until his body is released for burial. 

Far as I know he will be buried in WV by his Mother (Leona) and Dad (William).  

He has some  cousins in the Fairview area, so maybe they will have something in the Fairmont paper.  

That cemetery is somewhere on old Route 73 heading to Morgantown."
