Karen Colvin Harbert memorial service Saturday

Memorial service for Lois Karen Colvin Harbert, Class of 1955, widow of John Harbert, Class of 1955, and sister-in-law of Duane Harbert, Class of 1951, who lives in Marlton, New Jersey, will be Saturday in Northfield, Ohio.

Lois Harbert

Lois Karen Harbert (nee Colvin), 77, of Spring Hill, Fla., formerly of Sagamore Hills, Ohio, passed away Monday (March 31, 2014). Born in Monongah, Lois graduated from Bethesda Nursing School and was an RN until her retirement to Florida.

She was the beloved wife of John M. Harbert (deceased).

She is survived by her loving companion, Jim Whalen; children, Larry (Barb), Marshall (Beverly), Deborah Napier (Paul), and Peggy (Chip); eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 26, at Johnson Romito Funeral Home, 99 W. Aurora, Northfield, OH 44067.

John and Karen's four children live in the Northfield area where John and Karen worked before they moved to Florida.

Karen’s viewing will be 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., when the service will begin at the Johnson Romito Funeral Home in Northfield. 

Karen passed away March 31 in Spring Hill, Florida; John, in 1985.

Northfield is midway between Akron and Cleveland.
