Huntington is a Mecca for fatties
Huntington, West Virginia/Ashland,
Kentucky is the fattest metropolitan area in America, according to the
latest Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index data.
That takes a bit of doing since the national obesity rate has plumped up to 27.1 percent.
Martinsburg, West Virginia/Hagerstown, Maryland metro area is No. 3. Charleston is 6th.
The skinniest city in the country is Boulder, Colorado, where Paula and I saw folks going to work with backpacks that they would use to hike in the Rocky Mountains after leaving the office.
