April 26 funeral for Karen Colvin Harbert in Ohio

A memorial service and funeral for Karen Colvin Harbert, Class of 1955, widow of John Harbert, also Class of 1955, will be held Saturday, April 26 in Northfield, Ohio, which is near where their four children live and where John taught in the Northfield school system.

Karen and John’s children are Larry Harbert and wife Barb, Marshall Harbert and wife Beverly,  Deborah Harbert Napier and Paul Napier and Peggy and Chip Harbert.

Karen passed away March 31 in Spring Hill, Florida; John, in 1985.

Northfield is midway from Akron to Cleveland.

Bob Cottrill, Class of 1951, who lives in Melbourne, Florida, was assistant superintendent of Northfield schools when Karen and John were living and working there. John was teaching and Karen was in the visiting nurse program.
