Worthington’s Norma Daft Johnson,
mother of 1987 North Marion graduates Norma Johnson Ramsey and Charles Johnson,
Jr., passed Away Wednesday, November 11.

Norma Daft Johnson, 78, of Worthington, went to be
with the Lord on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at her residence. She was born
February 11, 1937 in Everettsville, a daughter of the late Cecil Daft and
Bessie Oxley Daft.
Norma was a homemaker and loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was also a Baptist by faith.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years Charles A. Johnson, Sr., whom she married July 15, 1968; 2 sons: James Broadrick, Jr., Charles Johnson, Jr. and wife Cheryl, all of Worthington, 3 daughters: Norma Johnson of Worthington, Tina C. Robbins of Fairmont, Beth Titus and husband Greg of Mannington, 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband James T. Broadrick, Sr. a daughter Patricia Cienawski, 4 brothers and one sister.
Per Norma’s request there will be no public viewing or service. Cremation services have been entrusted to the Hutson Funeral Home in Farmington. Online condolences may be accessed at www.hutsonfuneralhomes.com
