Jackie Wilson Morgan’s sister passes away

Jerry Wilson Kinty, sister of Monongah’s Jackie Wilson Morgan of Monongah, wife of Bill Morgan, passed away Saturday, November 7.

Jerry Louise Kinty, 75, of Pleasant Valley passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Pierpont Center at Fairmont following a long illness.
She was born in Marion County on July 5, 1940 a daughter of the late Herman Wilson and Audra Moore Wilson.
She most recently worked for Walmart in Fairmont for 13 years as a telephone operator. Prior to that, she had been employed as a Pre-school teacher in several Monongalia County Schools. Jerry was a member of the Covenant Church in Fairmont and was active in the Star Program of the Church.
Jerry was a dedicated homemaker she loved cooking, baking, decorating her home and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Pastor Jerry Lee Kinty; a step-son, Jerry Kinty of Colfax; her sisters, Linda Rowand and her husband Robert of Mannington, Patty VanGilder of Bunner Ridge, Jean Norton of Fairmont and Jackie Morgan and her husband Bill of Monongah; a sister-in-law, Helen Wilson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; a brother-in-law Claude Kinty and his wife Nancy of Fairmont; four grandchildren, Kegan Kinty, Tori Kinty, Levi Kinty, Nicole Moore; several nieces and nephews and the caring staff at the Pierpont Center.
In addition to her parents, Jerry was preceded in death by her brothers, William "Bill" Wilson and Robert "Bob" Wilson and two brothers-in-law, Darl Pownell and Harry VanGilder.
Friends and Family may call at the Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home on Monday from 1pm to8pm and on Tuesday from 10am to11am. The funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at the funeral Home with Pastor Josh Morgan and Pastor Roy Weese officiating. Interment services will follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
