Artist's rendering of the mural and Rose Parade float that will ride through Pasadena on New Year's Day
Former WVU Medicine Children's patients, medical staff and family will be walking and riding on the West Virginia themed float in the 127th Rose Parade in Pasadena, California on January 1, 2016 that ushers in the new year.

There will be six patient families on the float.
The parade will begin at 8 a.m. and bands, horses and floats will travel 5.5 miles down Orange Grove, Colorado and Sierra Madre boulevards before finishing on Villa Street.
The Rose Parade will be shown live on ABC and NBC and five cable channels.

DaVinci & Dessert artist Ashley Teets is supervising the December 2 creation of a giant mural of the artist rendering of the West Virginia Rose Parade float which will hang in the new Children’s Hospital wing in Morgantown. DaVince & Dessert is on Cheat Road.
