Progress report on Phil Colanero’s wife

Phil Colanero, Class of 1963, who lives in Morgantown with wife Betty Hanlin Colanero, reports on her recovery:

“Got her home. Kidney (replacement) wonderful. Due to anesthesia and oxygen neglect we are still fighting some issues with strength and some cognitive problems. "Doctors say everything is going to return with time and home therapy. Been a long journey, but well worth the effort.”   Phil’s father was on the unbeaten 1940 Marion County Champions Monongah High football team.   Betty’s son, Daniel, passed away earlier this year.
