“Tara
didn't want a funeral, only a memorial service. She put it altogether and she
will be speaking to all of us (probably to thousands) Saturday. It will be in a
very large church (holds 3 thousand) and dinner will be served after. We are
leaving (Rustburg,
Virginia) Wednesday
morning. I am not sure when we will back, depends on Ciara.”
There were several cancer benefits
for Tara this year, including by The Custard Stand in Mannington.
The Bower family has had a tough run in
recent years. Tara’s brother, Mike, has been underdoing chemo treatment this
year. Tara’s father, Pastor Timothy L. Brower of Wadestown, passed away in
2008. Tara’s aunt, Carolyn Lee
Stewart of Clarksburg, passed away Jan.
