Dark Christmas for a while on Christmas Eve in Marion County

Strong wind gusts knocked out power in almost 4,000 Marion County homes just in time to darken Christmas Eve.
Other power outages in North Central West Virginia:
Harrison County: 3,656 Customers
Lewis County: 1,396 Customers
Taylor County: 854 Customers
Wetzel County: 1,024 Customers
Braxton County: 790 Customers
Monongalia County: 274 Customers
This all happened after 7:30 p.m. Christmas Eve, after a line of thundershowers with strong winds started moving through the area.
According to the National Weather Service, the highest wind gusts reported were 48 MPH, at the Clarksburg-Benedum Regional Airport in Harrison County.
