Sissy’s mother-in-law passes away

Mattie L. Powell, mother-in-law of Alceste Sissy Justice Powell, Class of 1974, passed away.

Sissy lives in Augusta, Georgia, with her husband, Glenn Powell, formerly from Fairmont. They have been married 42 years.

 

Sissy was a substitute high school teacher at LaPorte Independent School District in Texas for 12 years before Glenn became Executive Director of EEOC for Augusta Medical Colleges of Georgia in 2010.
